LUBBOCK, Texas - QB Taylor Potts, OG Brandon Carter, DE Ra'Jon Henley and CB Jamar Wall were elected team captains for the 2009 football season in a vote by their Texas Tech teammates.

LUBBOCK, TX - The Texas Tech women's tennis team earned the All-Academic Team honor from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as announced recently. The Lady Raiders were one of four Big 12 squads to earn team recognition and the only Big 12 school to place five individuals on the individual scholar-athlete list.
